Experienced, Multidisciplinary Care for Residential Addictions Treatment

Treatment Team

Services within the Residential Low-Intensity Addictions Treatment (ASAM Level 3.1) program at 1114 E 20th Street LLC are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of licensed, certified, and trained professionals who are qualified under Maryland law to provide addiction treatment and recovery support services.

Our staffing structure is designed to ensure clinical oversight, continuity of care, and 24-hour residential support, while maintaining a person-centered and recovery-oriented approach.

Program Leadership & Clinical Oversight

The program is supported by experienced leadership responsible for clinical quality, compliance, and coordination of care.

Program Director

The Program Director provides overall operational oversight of the residential program and is on-site a minimum of 20 hours per week. This role ensures the program operates in accordance with Maryland regulations, ASAM standards, and organizational policies.

Clinical Director

The Clinical Director serves a minimum of 20 hours per week and is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all clinical services. The Clinical Director may also serve as the Program Director and is qualified under COMAR as an individual practitioner provider or an approved clinical supervisor.

Responsibilities include:

  • Clinical oversight of treatment services
  • Supervision of counselors and peer support staff
  • Coordination of care with external providers and referral sources
  • Ensuring services meet medical necessity and regulatory standards

Counseling & Clinical Services Staff

Direct treatment services are provided by licensed and certified professionals who specialize in substance use disorder treatment.

Licensed or Certified Counselors

A licensed or certified substance use disorder counselor is on-site a minimum of 40 hours per week to provide:

Individual counseling
Group therapy
Treatment planning
Ongoing clinical assessments
Discharge and transition planning

Counselors work collaboratively with residents to support recovery goals, skill development, and community reintegration.

Peer Recovery Support Staff

Peer Recovery Support Specialists play a vital role in the Residential Level 3.1 program by offering lived-experience support, encouragement, and recovery mentorship.

Peer support staff provide:

Daily recovery support and engagement
Assistance with goal setting and accountability
Connection to community recovery resources
Support in building recovery-oriented routines and relationships

Peer services are integrated into the daily structure of the program and complement clinical treatment.

Residential & Overnight Support Staff

Because this is a true 24-hour residential program, trained residential staff are present at all times to ensure safety and structure.

House Managers / Residential Support Staff

House managers provide 24/7 residential supervision and support as scheduled. They assist with:

  • Maintaining a safe and supportive living environment
  • Monitoring resident well-being
  • Supporting daily routines and house expectations
  • Responding to resident needs outside of clinical service hours

Overnight Staff (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

At least one staff member is on duty overnight and is:

  • Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Certified in Narcan administration
  • Trained in crisis intervention

Overnight staff ensure continuous supervision, safety, and immediate response to emergencies or crises.
